This is a resident’s panel, which meets to discuss and advise on the content and design of the resident’s newsletters to ensure that they remain readable, relevant and up to date with residents needs. The Panel will also agree which articles will go into the newsletters and what other information we should be including.
Some of the changes the panel has made includes:
- A resident article on the front page – it’s your magazine, so it should be about you!
- Everyday life articles – hate crime, domestic abuse, heart attacks, strokes – It’s good to talk about these things
- Items on other services such as cheap home contents insurance for Housing Association Residents
- Recycling/energy saving items.
- Dates for the diary - find out what events are coming up
- Resident story – who they are and what’s changed for them
- Getting involved in what we do – how to get involved and who to contact
- Cut-out contact page – stick it on your fridge for the useful numbers when you need it
- Easy to spot competitions – win prizes!
- A residents’ approved stamp of approval – the panel agree that our articles are useful and easy to read.
